#AUTOPILOT
5 messages in this thread
I have just registered AutoPilot, and received a message from Michael Gerard
that I have to Download AP.LHA and APDOCs.LHA. Where do I download these from?
Can I just go into my unregistered copy to do this or do I have to do this from
accessing the Forum. Please explain my next step!
Myron,
If you have downloaded and installed AP1.73, then you have the latest
version already and there is no need to download it again. If you have an
older version, then you need to download this newer one. It is in Library
9 of AmigaVendor forum.
Be sure to be using Autopilot each time you sign on after registration
until you receive the Email that validates it – even if it is an older
version. The install script will transfer your registration from older
versions to new ones automatically, but you have to get that binary Email
that changes the demo to the registered version first.

Myron,
From the AMIGAVENDOR FORUM (GO AMIGAV). Just select the AMIGAVENDOR forum
from the AP main screen and create a catalog for that forum that's about
100 days old.
The documentation explains how to do this. Please take a look a the README
fiels and the APDOCS.
Also, once again, PLEASE post all messages concerning Autopilot in the
AFORUMS section of the Amigavendor Forum (per the instructions in the
docs), NOT here in AmigaUser.
Thanks.
Myron,
if you already have AutoPilot running, you do not need to re-download
it. You got the only copy available online from Library 9 of AmigaVendor,
and that is all there is to it. You'll be receiving a CMail message, that
you HAVE to pick up with AutoPilot, to activate all the features. That's
it.

Brian,
In his original post, Myron said he was using an older version (1.06 or
something) and if that is the case, he WILL need to dodwnload the current
version.
