Help with CrossDOS

Hi Everybody! I accidentally reformatted my internal drive on my GVP 040 accellerated A2000. When I recovered as many files as I could off the disk, my CrossDOS files were recovered. I copied them to a syquest with the rest of the recovered files without knowing which directory they came from. With some difficulty, (caused by the GVP SCSI controller on my accelerator), I re-installed all the software on my Toaster system. Before I screwed it up, I could read DOS formatted disks and transfer images and textures from my Mac to the Toaster. But now The Amiga won't accept any DOS disks. It tells me 'Not a DOS disk' and refuses to mount it. These are factory fresh DOS formatted disks right out of the box. A good friend helped me set everything up when I bought the system, a while back, and one of the things I remember him doing was something special to get CrossDOS to work. I don't know if it was in the StartUp Sequence or not. Could some wonderful person please tell me where to put the CrossDOS files, (watch it <grin>), and what I need to do to get my Amiga to read DOS disks again. It's been doing it just fine for the past 8 months. This is the last thing I need my Toaster system to be able to do before I back the whole thing up to DAT, so I won't have to go thru this mess again. Thanks for any help! –>Doyle Calvert Synergistic MultiMedia
