It appears that when a transparent window is updated, Windows doesn't bother to
have whatever windows are under it updated too. The only solution I've found
to this is to capture whatever is under the transparent window as a bitmap and
restore it before repainting the transparent window. That isn't adequate
because the window under the transparent one could have changed.
How do people work around this Windows design deficiency? Thanks. -steve
