There should bee help files installed in the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM subdirectory for
each ODBC driver you have installed. It will tell you if a certain SQL
grammer is supported or not. You can simply search on "DROP INDEX" to see
what it says. Unfortunately, the Access help file, DRVACCSS.HLP, doesn't
specify this as a limitation of the driver. Some of the other drivers, like
the text driver, specifically say that this syntax is not allowed.
Since you can't get it to work with MSQuery, my guess is that there was a
documentation error in the help file. To be certain, you should post the
question to ODBC section of the WINEXT forum.
