Sorry for the late reply…I haven't seen the behaviour you mention
probably because I haven't had enough situations with low system
resources. In any case, it may be slower to paint buttons on
modeless dialogs if for no other reason than that all messages
are first going through our wndproc, AfxWndProc(), which may not
be optimized as well as the Windows default wndproc.
Other than that, I'm not sure what would cause the slowness.
