Waiting is nothing unusual when it comes to products from Microsoft!
I did quickly scan over the article in a store, but haven't picked up the mag
yet. I think it more deals with the Hieracheal ( wish WinCIM had a spell
checker! ) list boxes. I am also working on a HierList class that will look
something like that.
Course, just as I get all this finished, Microsoft will again change the way
things look. If I had a dime for every time the status line graph indicators
change, I could retire. Perhaps it's useless trying to make anything look like
the stuff in Microsoft products, because they never ( well, rarely at best )
look the same in two different apps anyway. For a company that harps on
standards and CUA and a common LAF, they certainly go about things in a strange
manner!

I certainly agree with you.
Microsoft has a funny tradition of making the industry follow them one step
behind — they would never see the industry go step-in-step with them. Another
good one is ctl3dv2.dll — they had it in their applications forever and when
other developers finished incorporating them in their apps, MS put ctl3dv2.dll
out for other developers. Now they have the tab dialogs — I am darn sure that
the day I finish my tab dialog class (I am almost done with it), Microsoft will
put that out for developers too !
