I have a question. I am using the database class's from MFC. I have
everything working fine. I have paramaterized the m_strFilter and this works
fine. I am using the paradox driver for the time being as all my old data is
in paradox. My question is how does one show a wildcard and what is the
wildcard charector in the paramater that substitutes in for the ? in the
m_strFilter variable. For instance, I would like the recordset to include all
records that have a field that begins with the letter 'A' or with the letter
'B', or all records that begin with 'SMI', or some other type. I basically
want to be able to append a wildcard onto the end of the parameter. If this
is possible, does the wildcard belong in the m_strFilter, just after the
question mark, this would be acceptable in my use, or should it be appended
at the end of the CString that is the paramater.
