I purchased the Elcaset machine today. I love the external (it says DBX) or
"auto" (Dolby) switch.
It has what appears to be automatic selection between tape types I,II, and III.
Anyone know about the tape types? Marc, do you know what kind you have?

This is the TEAC Elcasette deck you mentioned before, yes? Type I, II and III
are Normal, CrO2 and FeCr (Ferric Chrome) respectively, which is the same as
the tape types for Compact Cassette.
