#Printer Driver
9 messages in this thread
A couple of months ago I checked in here and found an HPR Pagestream printer
driver. Now I can't find it anywhere? What's happened to it? Thanks,
Chris
You might check in Soft-Logik's library in AmigaVendor Forum.
Thanks very much. Off to look for it. While I'm at it, do you know if anyone
has hacke together a driver for Amiga WordPerfect for the new HP4 series?
Where would I look for that. I know WordPerfect doesn't support the Amiga any
more, but a lot of us are still using it. Thanks. Chris
The old LaserJet drivers should work fine, you just won't have access to
fancy features. WP 4.1 can't take advantage of them any way, so no loss!

Thanks, Dale. Don't know enough to know if I can have access to the 600 X 600
dpi with WP 4.1. Does the machine use that as its default setting, or does one
have to give command codes to enter that mode. And "fancy features?" What
things were you referring to? I assume one can switch fonts and such. Perhaps
it just WP 4.1 just doesn't automatically adjust line length and line spacing.
Of course, I'm not really sure if 5.0 or 6.0 does that either, since I don't
use IBM's at all except the XT BridgeBoard and 5.0 there. Off, Chris
If you just send ascii characters to the printer, it prints them at its
highest resolution. Amiga WordPerfect doesn't know about graphics, only
about ASCII.

Dale, Thanks for the info. Glad to hear the highest resolution will be used.
What's Intangible Assets Manufacturing? Vaporware? Care to answer via Email?

The bottom line (the true value of a company or any other endeavor) is
more than financial.
