I keep getting "SYS not validated" messages or "Checksum error at Block xxxx"
when booting my A3000T/40. After repeated tries it finally boots properly and I
can proceed. I just reformatted (low level), repartitioned and reformatted the
drive hoping to cure the problem. It recurred the next day.
I have EMPLANT and EGSSpectrum boards installed. The problem doesn't seem to
occur when the Spectrum board is not activated. What causes such problems? I
also get the guru far too frequently during this boot up process.
