I have just spent one month testing an RCD-1000 and over the course
of many test disks, I never had one single problem (other than those
caused by my learning curve with mastering). For the price, I'd have
to say that the Pinnacle is a really good value. I'm running a DEC
3105 harddrive off an Adaptec 1542CF controller. Not a single hitch
with the RCD-1000.

I too have been up and running even multisession with the Pinnacle and the
easypro software. I have to tell you its fast and now after two or three ruined
disc, I have not had any problems. I use tdk or sony media. Best of all as a
backup (expensive_ ) it is great. Those incat guys are a big help also.

I also have the new RCD1000 and have had ZERO Problems. I have used the older
RCD202 for a couple of years, and if you follow the instructions from Pinnacle
have had no trouble with it either. If anyone out ther wants to sell their
"useless" rcd202 for $400 or so I would like to talk to you!
