I am looking for anyone with info on Panasonics portable CDROM player model
KXL-D720. Is there a forum where I can get Vendor information? Has anyone had
experience with this drive?

I recently bought one of these drives after having a horrible experience with
the Reno drive by Mediavision. (I returned that one after hours of fruitless
toil). The Panasonic drive work flawlessly. I am very impressed. The
installation is very simple. I'm using the PCMCIA card interface. It has
drivers that are relatively small and that will control the card even if you
aren't using card aand socket services. This is the way things ought to be!
I'm wondering if the PCMCIA card will support other devices or more than one
device at a time, i.e. like a tape backup or a zip drive. I have yet to call
Panasonic about it, and I'm not sure if they check this forum.
I'd say you should definitely give this a try. The price on it is good, too.
