#soundtrack for animation

i'm considering upgrading from animator pro to animator studio, primarily for the ability to mix sound with animation… could someone please explain briefly how this is done in animator studio?… how, for example, would i take music from a cd, bring it into the software, edit it & sync it with my animation?… thanks for the input… … joe

>> i'm considering upgrading from animator pro to animator studio, primarily for the ability to mix sound with animation… could someone please explain briefly how this is done in animator studio?… how, for example, would i take music from a cd, bring it into the software, edit it & sync it with my animation?… << basic process is that you need to record CD as a .WAV file (any soundcard will let you do this with AStudio's Soundlab module). if you have an existing AVI, MOV or FLC animation file, you can inport the soundtrack into it, or create AVI, MOV or FLC files with the Animator Module and import sound into it. once the animations are completed, you can stretch them or shrink them (or do the same with the soundtrack) so that they are synchronized. -dave
