Oh dear!, after seeing the Yearbook I'm really worried about my photo
now, The JPG has confirmed my fears about the Yost group, as I
thought they really are space aliens, Jack Powell must have huge
brian power, perhaps he is like a Talosian from Star Trek, and Mr
Yost seems to be shifting dimensions like a rabid Cutholian
creation, (or he just had some bad seafood and was moving quick when
the photo was taken).
Yet again still no pictures of Hudson and Silva, are they
earthly beings or kindly passing star travelers that felt sorry that
most of us could not afford SGI?
As for the rest, to smile or not, this seems a big question in these
photo's.
So I have decided, to make a CV photo,
a: get false beard
b: get some glasses
c: grin not smile
d: Fold my arms (this looks cool)
e: under no conditions put a rubber duck in the still
f: to look very "Academic" get someone to draw loads of maths on a chalk
board behind me, and stand in front of it.
Thats it, thats the photo! P.S. what does AIA stand for, Autodesk

sure! Actually, I bring my cat into the tub and she sings to me <g>.
She wasn't available for photography in my year book photo, however,
since I was in Barcelona and Beatrix stayed in LA.
Glad to see the year book finally come out, but disappointed by the
few people who contributed, especially the lack of females. I could
easily get a photo of Michele Bousquet (sometime forumite) because I
have a few myself of her in her natural state OR I could grab some
video from her new video. I don't like her quite as much with her
"corporate" makeover, it's just not her. We could also have got Ana
Gervas since she uploaded an image some time back.

Yup. People can still send their images to James Coulter (73670,677) to
get onto page two. C'mon folks! send 'em in. Part of the idea was so that we
could associate a face with the name here on AMMEDIA, the other so we'd
recognize each other at SIGGRAPH! Jonas? David G.? Ted B.? Heck, Laurie
sent a photo, and she just arrived!

Well, yeah, but look what happened! Since I sent it, no one wants to
talk to me and (more disappointingly) NO MARRIAGE PROPOSALS! Was it
that scary a photo? Or shouldn't chicks drink beer? Or what? Or
should I have posed with clothes on, not nude?
That'll get 'em scurrying to have a look, I'll bet!

<G> Hey, 17 people have downloaded it in less than two days! Compare
that to the 84 that have downloaded the first ASOFT/AMMEDIA yearbook page in
Index and Info in six months! Let's see, at that rate…

I think I have about six or seven people for page two (out of fifteen spaces
total) and a correction or two on page one. I've had a small influx of images
in the last week, so let's keep 'em coming. I'll hold off on the upload for
page two for a few more days for anyone who wants in before Siggraph.
Also, I'll be on safari with my 35mm camera in an attempt to capture some
suspiciously absent mugs. If you happen to catch me loitering around the Adesk
booth or at the ASOFT party, I'll be glad to snap a mug of you for inclusion.
BTW, if anyone can point out some uploaded mugs in the Libs here, I'll be glad
to include them.

Interesting choice of words! Technically, all living beings are mutants except
for a few strains of unchanging virii. With that in mind, knowing that we,
here on the forum, consider non-3DSer's to be non-mutants, I'm really glad to
be a mutant!!

I took a peek at your photo (Okay, it was more of a gawk.)
Great profile, great lips, lovely sternocleidomastoid muscle, nice hair, so-so
sunglasses.
I _did_ immediately consider asking for your hand in matrimony but I declined
to do so _only_ for the following reasons:
1. I don't want to live in New Zealand (I'm not a big beer drinker
and I don't care for mutton.)
2. I don't know how to operate a sailboat.
3. You're too young for me.
4. I'm too old for you.
5. I didn't want to make a fool of myself.
6. My wife wouldn't let me.
To tell the truth, I was surprised to find that a woman who writes so well and
so wittily and who is interested in 3ds is also so pretty!

Actually, I'm considering proposing to Ken Goldstein of Computer Aided
Technologies in Hawaii. I'm not goldbricking or anything, but the thought of
playing with the computer power he has there… well, it'd turn any woman's
head. And I'm sure his wife wouldn't mind. And seeing as how you listed your
own reasons for not proposing so concisely, I guess yer off the hook. My
regards to your wife!
