#Digimation Tapes
8 messages in this thread
I've bought a couple months ago the "In the Studio" and "Video Post tapes" from
Digimation.
Great help, and I fell a lot better working with 3D Studio. I even might
become an artist with a few more years of practice 🙂
IWd like to buy as well Creative Lighting, and Michelle Bousquet Character
Animation Tape. I don't know if they have already been released. Have they?
Digimation phones seem to be always busy, and International calls are quite
expensive.
I'm considering getting Bones Pro. Do you recommend?
One last question. I'm rebuilding some archaeological Roman and mediaeval
sites. If heard of Metaballs for organic modelling. If I try by any chance try
to rebuilt some ancient statue, will this Ipas provide the level of accuracy
IWm looking?
Thanks,
Alvaro
Alvaro,
I just bought a new system, with the tapes you mentioned. I also wanted
"Creative Lighting", but the word I got was that it is not shipping yet. The
word on Bones Pro, is that it's great. I bought it along with Metaballs. The
two of them together are supposed to be a pretty strong package.
Hope this helps, Terry
Terry,
Thanks for the info. Do you know when "Creative Lighting" is to be shipped?
Regards
Alvaro
Alvaro,
I can't (looking back through my extensives files <g>), find anything definate.
The best line I could get on it, was "maybe after SIGGRAPH" in August.
Sorry, Terry

Yes, for character work its a real time saver. Smooth alone is a major modeling
tool that adds significant capabilities.

If you can get it, read the article in the current Computer Graphics World. I
learned a lot about getting tight control of meshes with Metaballs

I don't have here access to that magazine. Can you give me their adress, and
the the number of the edition you mention? Perhaps I can order it.
Thanks and regards,
