Hello All: I've got a Freind who works for McDonnell Douglas Corporation that has just accepted a 3 year overseas assignment and will be leaving the U.S. Since he does not have a CompuServe account I've Volenteered to post the following message for him. I'd also like to say that I do not benifit at all through any thing that may transpire as a result of my posting this…in other words I'm doing a freind a favor please don't read any more in to it than that. He needs to sell all his computer equipment and wants to pick up a High-End lapTop he can use in his travels preferably a 100Mhz Pentium or better fully loaded. Here's what he's got: DX2/66 VLB with 8 MB of Ram (72 pin SIMMS) / MidTower Nokia 447x, 17", 1600X1200, .25dpi SVGA Monitor (Real Nice!) NEC 3X SCSI-2 Internal CD-ROM Seagate 2.2Gig "Hawk" SCSI-2 Hard Drive (internal) ATI Grafx ProTurbo / 2MB VRAM Adaptec 2842 VLB HD/FD Controller Card Sound Blaster 16 Colorado 250MB Tape Backup/TC-15 Compression Card Both 1.44 & 1.2 Dual Floppy Drive ——————————————————————————- ———————- Fargo Primera Dy-Sublimation Printer Exabyte 8502 2.5GB 8mm SCSI Tape Back-up (External) _____________________________________________________________ DPS PAR (Personal Animation Recorder) DPS TBC-IV ( Time Base Corrector) Micorpolis 1.7GB (2217A Hard Drive For PAR System Hitachi S772-SX5-S-VHS VCR Acoustic Research 70watt per channel RoomMates (x2) PC Speakers An RCA 19" Color TV with Remote and S-VHS inputs/outputs Also a 13" VHS Monitor/TV w/Remote that takes the Composite Input/output ——————————————————————————- ———————————– Razor Professional 1.0f / Windows Elastic Reality /Win Mirage 3D Studio IPAS with Tape Ver. 1.33 7th Guest CD-ROM Creature Shock (CD-ROM) MEGA RAGE (CD-ROM) STRIKE COMMANDER (CD-ROM) MYST (CD-ROM) WING COMMANDER II (CD-ROM Plus JoyStick..I forgot which kind as he added it after sending me the written descriptions. In any event you may contact my freind Rick Gaylor directly at 919-751-3674. He is asking $7K but also would be willing to trade for a state of the art 100Mhz or better pentium laptop that he can carry around with him on the job. Please only serious offers as Rick has got to pick up this laptop and will either trade or have to purchase with what he agrees is a fair price for his equipment list. At this point I'm out of it except if the sysops don't want the number left on. I've noticed that that's no longer considered kosher but hope that in this case it could remain posted so that serious folks could contact him directly as he does not have any other way of contacting CIS and I'd really rather have the purchaser and the seller deal directly with each other and I can stay out of it. Thank you folks. I hope Rick can find a serious buyer because he's a great guy and I wish him well on his new adventure. Thank you. Murph'

Murph' – You are right about no longer posting personal phone numbers in public! — except if the member specifically states that it's okay for it to be in public which you did. We also ask that prices not be put in public but since we can't tell which piece of equipment sells for what – we'll just leave the whole thing out there. Business addresses, phone and fax numbers can stay public. Private ones get removed and the member is asked to repost without it. Anne
