Good tips and infro from some great people. The bottom line is try both and
see what works best for your animation. Some times frames will be better and
sometimes fields will be better espically with a lot of motion. Sometimers we
will want to hold a animation and repeat a frame for say 3 sec….. you can't
do that with a field so you cheat. We have rendered (frame and or fields) in
segments with very rare problems. We have won awards for our animations
(usually fields). We go after that smooth effect to wow our clients and it
works every time.
