AAPLAY Royalty free?

Is the player on this forum royalty free? I need to distribute this player on
my commercially sold CD. Is there a charge? Agreement? Thanks!
Hot off the presses, here is the new policy on distributing the player:

AUTODESK, INC.
POLICY ON PLAYERS
INFORMATION SHEET
This information sheet sets forth Autodesk's policy
regarding the copying and distribution of some of its
players and associated libraries (jointly referred to as the
"Players").
1. Autodesk permits the copying and distribution of the
following Players*:
AAPLAY.EXE
ANIPLAY.EXE
AAPLAYHI.EXE
AAWIN.EXE
2. Other supporting files which may be freely copied and
distributed include the following:
AAPLAY.DLL
MCIAAP.DRV
VBPLAY.VBX
VBPLAY.EXE
AAVGA.DLL
AASHOW.EXE
Additional files which fit into this category are
available in Animation Support Developers Kit from
Autodesk.
3. The Players should not be modified, except they may be
recompiled so that they copyright notice of Autodesk
does not show up on the splash screen for your
animations. Proprietary notices which are embedded in
the code should not be removed.
4. Products which include a Player should include a
copyright notice in the documentation for the Player
indicating that the Player is copyrighted by Autodesk,
Inc.
*Other players may be subject to restriction.
Could they be made public on the GAMxPUB forums – many vendors upload FLC files
but no player 🙁
We have PKZIP in LIB 1 on all our GAMxPUB forums for users needing utilities
and we would like to have a FLC player also.
Judy
The Player utilites are freely distributable. (That doesn't mean public domain
however, for developers). Being freely distributable you are allowed to upload
these files wherever you feel they might benefit others. Feel free to copy them
wherever you need.

Thanks Brian – I will put them up in the utilities section of the GAME
Publishers.

THANKS BRIAN!! THAT'S WHAT I NEEDED.

Brian,
How can I use AAPLAY.DLL without the splash screen? I would prefer to give a
copyright credit to Autodesk elsewhere in documentation. When I call aaOpen()
the splash screen appears. If I don't call aaOpen(), I get a GPF. I'm using
VC/C++ 1.52, but am writing in C.
