Hi conrad… Just a note to let you know how much I have enjoyed playing with
your Flex script. It's REALLY useful
Thankyou for the work !

I appreciate your comments. I'd love to see any work you do with it. Your
pieces always stand out on the demo reels and I'm intrigued to see what you'll
come up with next. Thanks.

I'll let you know. Your script will REALLY boost the quality of bones pro
animation.

Glenn,
do you have anything in the Siggraph reel this year, Glenn? Hope so.
Are you coming to Siggraph?
Martin
What would a 3DS reel be without some of Glenn's work on it?
It wouldn't be a 3DS reel, that's what! <g>
Glenn's going to love the sound effects that back up his shot. It's the
funniest moment on the tape.

Woa! I can't wait. I've only ever seen the silent screen version. I hope my
dude makes the transition from the silent screen to talkies!

Considering the level of your work, I'm sure your "dude" will fair better than
Tom Mix. 🙂

You will be on the floor. He's even got a (very primal) vocabulary!
Killer eye moves on that guy, Glenn… You did a really fantastic job with him.
The Digimation folks are going to love it (it's a great ad for Bones Pro).

Yes I do as a matter of fact (although I gotta say it was a struggle to find
the time!). I have a really short piece that uses as many IPAS's as I could lay
my hand on without it getting too razzle dazzle.
What about yourself Martin? Anything I should wet myself with anticipation
over?(G)

Glenn,
>> I have a really short piece that uses as many IPAS's as I could lay my hand

that's great and a bit like what I did last year. 2 out of the 3 shots I got on
the reel last year were custom made for Siggraph.

not me personally. I concentrated on submissions through MetroLight and I
believe we may have got a couple of shots from the Herbie Hancock music video
on the reel. I only had a small influence on these shots, since I was only
supervising the work of the 3d Studio animator (Lars Fields) who did the
scenes. Lars specializes in very abstract, sexual, plants and animals, mostly
fictious, and some of his personal work should be on the Siggraph reel too. The
entire music video should be showing throughout the show all over the place and
particularly on a video wall outside the electronic theatre. Alternatively, it
should be on MTV and/or VH1 music channels wherever Herbie is popular.
I wanted to work on my own scene for Herbie, but they gave me a prominent film
resolution, holographic talking head scene to do in "Virtuosity", which was
higher profile and much more profitable.
Are you coming to Siggraph? You didn't say.
