Hiya Folks…
the intro to this conference says I'm sposed to say HI to everyone…
So this is it.
Special hi to Syndesis (Hi John & Harri)… long time..!
I've been very quiet lately, haven't I? We've been busy…. we being
Argonaut Software. StarGlider-2 should be out by the time you read this
(Rainbird/Activision, Menlo Park)… and we're working on some very hush^2
projects for EA and Activision, some of which may never be launched in the
USA due to licensing problems.
Seeya around…

I was just thinking the other day… You ever play the arcade game
"Battle-Zone" ? A wire-frame 3d tank shoot-em-up… One of my all time
favorites! Anyway, I was thinking that you would be a perfect choice for
bringing such a game to the Amiga (but maybe in solid-modeling). Of course
you'd need to use two joysticks to maintain the tank steering feel… yeah,
I've got two… I can just stap 'em to a peice of plywood… yeah, that's
the ticket! Just some food for thought, Welcome Back! – Keith

Battle-Zone is a classic game…. I used to love it!
But Star Wars is more my style… I have one (a coinop) in my den!
And anyway, Vector games are passe nowadays… grin! Even tho I authored
one myself only a year or so ago…. Nope, Solid graphics are where its
at…. Check out StarGlider-2 for a nifty 3d solids game…. its got a lot
of elements of Star Wars, BattleZone, Elite, and Defender… all rolled
into one. Its a kindof strategic combat game, with the player flying a
spaceship very akin to the Millenium Falcon, only different.., (grin)
