In reverse order: There is a Shareware util called PLAY by Mark Reilly
that will play Sonix scores. I personally don't know of any player for DMCS,
but one must exist somewhere.
To a certain extent, DMCS and Sonix scores are compatible. I say "to a
certain extent" because, quite literally, some DMCS=>Sonix transfers work, and
some don't. If anyone knows why this happens, please join in.
Do the do the same things? They both allow you to score music, which is
the main thing. Sonix has only two staves, doesn't scroll your score as it
plays, and doesn't allow you to manually tie notes together. it balances this
(in my opinion) by offering superb quality sound, and (in conjunction with
AudioMaster) the ability to use high quality sampled sounds.
