Arctic Fox is really dull and slow… its more an adventure game than a
shootemup due to its lousy programming… ( 1 frame per second, ouch!!!) If
you liked Arctic Fox (programmed by Statix 🙂 ) tyhen you'll like
StarGlider-2…. 10 times better… but tyhen Im biassed… grin!
Jez, I'll sure try it – but I remember when you told us that StarGlider was
far better than ArcticFox, too… and it wasn't even closee, as it was a
straight vector game, no "solid" aspect at all. Perhaps it's my perspective
– I really like the premise (I'm a big, big SF fan) and just really enjoyed
the touches like rumbling over the little piles of rubble left after you
destroy something. I look forward to seeing SG II, and hope that you have
added lot's of "stuff" to it. And welcome back – it's been a long time!

In May 1986, recovering from surgery, I was home for a few days with one
usable hand and nothing to do. One of the few things that kept me from
going nuts (I wasn't too mobile either) was playing Artic Fox and Sky Fox.
While later games are more exciting, it had its moments, and the sound was
rather good for those days. I've just sent in my old disks and $15 to get
ones that will work on my 2000 – I'd still like to play them once in a
while – the only digital joystick games I'll play. Ron
