#PAR vs. MAX

I've got two questions I hope someone can answer: What resolution(s) does the PAR support? Does the Ilpro/Max have a square pixel resolution (like 640×480). Which is better for capturing video to disk? I keep seeing people asking about jpeg artifacting of computer graphics, but I've seen no answer (sorry if I missed it). Is this a problem with either of the PAR or the Max? Thanks. Bailey

Bailey: >> What resolution(s) does the PAR support? Only one, 752×480. Smaller renderings are centered on the screen. Can't help you on the MAX, someone else jump in here! Greg Pyros

On the MAX spec sheet it states the res at : 720×486, one resolution in NTSC.

Bailey, >> Does the Ilpro/Max have a square pixel resolution (like 640×480). << there is a version of the Illuminator pro that is square pixel (640×480), and a version at (720×480). They are entirely seperate, so you can't have both, I think. I can't say whether the MAX would work at 640×480 with a Illpro square pixel board. Matrox or a dealer for them should answer that for you.
