Commodore International reported earnings….
38 cents a share vs 6 cents last year, or 12.2 million. Sales were up 13% this
quarter. For the year commodore reported 1.51 in earnings or over twice last
years .71 cents. Irving Gould, chairman, quoted as saying that the increased
profitability was due to sales growth in all major markets, including europe,
north america, and australia, and resulted from growing market penetration,
distribution, and shipments of the amiga and pc compatibles.
