I agree completely!! However, with the limited selection of good databases,
I'd be willing to put up with the dongle, though I'd groan, moan, and gripe as
loudly as possible. 🙂
OK. What if you wanted to multitask this program and, say, DesignText, with
its own dongle. Where do you stick the dongle? Which dongle do you use? Is
there an icon for the dongle to access it from WB? What is the sound of one
hand clapping?
For my money, anything that insists on a dongle doesn't get purchased.

I'd tell ya where they could stick it but this is a family oriented forum!
What they won't get, they meaning any publisher who has dongle protection, is
my money.

I agree really for the most part.
I'm only saying, though, if I need a Perzny type program really badly, and
there are 2 or 3 and only 1 good one that's got a dongle, I'd probably buy it.
I wouldn't buy it if it were disk-copy protected.

Personally, I'd prefer to suffer with an inferior product or do without,
rather than submit my Amiga to a dongle. I can be much more productive without
a good data base package than I can with a good DB and no Amiga (thanks to a
fried Paula).
