Of course, you can record to any sequencer in real time, and THEN transfer the
file to DMCS or the copyist (when it comes out). This doesn't give you real
time transcription, but it can give you notated versions of live playing. With
many of the limitations Rick mentioned, although post facto quantitization can
help eliminate some of the problems. There is no perfect solution on the Amiga.
Can Finale (the $1000 program for the Mac) do this stuff? The ads imply it
