I am having a problem with vd0:. I have a 4meg system, and I have a
3meg vd0: (no rad: is mounted). The following is in the Mountlist,

Now the problem is that when there is roughly 620K left of fast ram,
vd0: starts to save files to chip ram. And of course when the chip
ram reaches 5K, I get the ASDG-RAM has a read/write error alert. And
that leaves 620K of fast ram untouched by vd0:??? What I did was when
the Amiga is powered up, I press the ctrl-d before it starts to mount
and load anything. Then I mount vd0:, then start copying files to vd0:,
watching the Fast and Chip ram settings from a utility displayed in
the menubar.
How do I fix this problem?
