Betty, any suggestions on whether I should use the newer (using the patch
files here) version of Cross Dos or stick to the old? I use Noclick and I
understand it might not work with the new version. Thanks,

Ron, quite a few people reported problems. I haven't patched my own
version yet, since I was having no problems with it, and since I read about
the new patches having caused trouble for a few. I guess you'd just have
to try it out to know whether it was best – but keep a copy of your current
version in case you want to switch back.

Since the patch directions are intended to be done to a floppy, I copied my
original and patched that one, but have not installed the update on my hd.
I don't want to give up noclick, and I don't have setcpu (having a stock
2000) to use its noclick feature itself.
