Denys, Welcome to the DECPC Forum. The Professional is actually a PDP-11 minicomputer in personal-computer packaging, so it's primary "home" here on CIS is in the PDP-11 Forum (GO PDP11 — note, no hyphen). However, since I have a couple of Pros and know a lot about 'em… Part of your message is garbled but I gather you want to transfer files from a Pro to a Mac. Two ways come to mind. The first is to use the Pro/Communications product from Digital (discontinued but available from the DECUS library), in combination with some Mac program that will simply capture incoming data to a file. Pro/Communications only supports the DDCMP file-transfer protocol, but you can also send files with _no_ protocol. The second is to use Kermit, which is also available from the DECUS library, in combination with some Mac program that speaks the Kermit protocol (I'm sure there is one, but I don't use Macs so don't know what program to tell you to look for). I think you'll also find Kermit in the PDP-11 Forum. -Bill
