If a disk, or even a file on a disk, get's corrupted, you will often get a
cmessage that says, "use diskdoctor to fix". Diskdoctor, a CBM supplied
utility, if used, will makes some changes on the disk, and automatically
rename it Lazarus (raised from the dead and all). Most folks around here
recommend that you NEVER use diskdoctor on a bad disk, but use DiscSalv
instead (available here), since DiskSalve doesn't change your bad disk, but
instead permits you to recorver damaged files and place them on another
disk.
