I am working on a friends 2000HD. It has a Supra controller and a drive
divided into 2 partitions of about 20 megs each. I am getting an "Error
Validating disk key 18358 bad header type" error and when I try to access
the drive I get a Guru "8700000B 00000001" error. Is there anything I
should try before I take the drastic step of reformatting both partitions?

My most recent HD disk validation problem was resolved using the commercial
program Quarterback Tools (v. 1.5), although it wasn't quite the same
problem. The program FixDisk (here in the libraries, I believe) might also
help fix your friend's disk.
