Can anyone point me at a utility to undelete an Amigados file? Are there reliable PD programs that can do this, i.e. if I delete a file, and don't write anything else on that disk, can the file be undeleted? Thnx – kn

Well, one I know works is Quarterback Tools. Commercial disk utility. Will fix most common hardware disk errors (bad bitmap, key disk viol, etc) as well as undelete files. Costs @ $55.00 or so. Has saved my butt several times that amount in frustration. (just *today* I repaired a bad bitmap on my main HD partition with it, for example) Note that you'll have the best shot at undeleting a file if you've NOT WRITTEN ANYTHING TO THE DRIVE SINCE YOU DELETED IT. So, if you're still using the disk that you want to undelete on, DONT WRITE TO IT. Contrary to what some say, if you have written to the disk, you still may get the file back. It just gets less likely the more you write to the disk…. hope this helps. –jp–seattle–
