I know I am asking in a extremely wrong place but, could someone tell whats the best Graphic and Animation tool on IBM (VGA)? I asked here cause me personally cannot think anything better than DPIII or DPIV so anything equivalent on IBM (if any!) was available. THANX – via Whap!

You can get Deluxe Paint IIe and the animation package (a seperate module) for the IBM systems. Dpaint IIe is VERY close and in someways better than Dpaint III on the Amiga–this assuming you're using a decent IBM (386 or better). The animation does not come in Dpaint like the Amiga but rather as a stand alone program. Most of our stores carry Dpaint IIe and we can get the animation package in about a weeks time. This is probably the best animation package out for IBM at this time for what it does against what you pay. The Animation studio by Disney is either out or will be VERY soon and this is also an excellent package provided you've got a fast machine (and lots of memory). After these two packages the price tends to jump dramatically for alternatives in the IBM world… Craig Glaser (Software Etc Milwaukee) – via Whap!
