$10 I feel kinda cheated. I thought you really needed it!
I did but now the software is inpossiable to find for it. Do you know a good
source I might try that will run under 1.3. If you do please send me an
address. I could always get copies but I don't want to go that way. The
memory did help alot but I don't have enough for the 2.1 upgrade at this time.

Paul,
You can get 2.1 to work in your 1000. I know there are ROM switchers
availble. It may be worth your time to investigate that but, it probably
would cost $50 for the switcher (or so) and 60 or 70 for the ROMS. If you
don't have the $…
It gets to a point where deciding between putting $ into the 1000 vs.
buying something else (an a1200?) is difficult. Go ahead and sell it.
Maybe someone else can use it. Maybe, you can get something else…
