Anyone know about using ProPage HPDeskjet500 and Super_DJ driver? I have a
problem printing more than one page. Each subsequent page is lower from the
top. Am I nuts? – Dave Stone – Read MovieSound Newsletter
I don't know the Super_DJ driver … but, have you set the correct page
length in Preferences? ProPage, quite rightly, uses the Amiga printer
drivers which take most of their data from the setting of Preferences …
I'm not sure how much of the page length stuff is taken by ProPage when
printing, but it's always best to have it set correctly.

You're not nuts!
There is some kind of a problem with the DJ500 and several Amiga
programs/printer drivers. The first page is offset differently from the
rest. I had the same problem with ProWrite.
There are a number of DJ500 printer drivers in the libraries here, all I
can suggest is you try different ones until you find one that works.
Personally I have switched to using the POST/POSTDJ programs for printing
ProWrite documents and the problem went away, plus the output quality is
terrific.
I have no idea what causes this problem, I suspect it is some interaction
between the actual programs, (ProWrite, ProPage) and the printer drivers.
Some programs work, some don't.
Wish I could help more, but at least you can take comfort in the fact that
you're not alone 🙂

Try to set the Skip over perfs dip switch to off. I had a similar problem
with PostDJ (which you should get from listings here along with POST if you
have enough memory to run it) and that fixed it.
