Don,
As Steve said…those are cursor control characters because CIS
thinks you've got an ANSI (vt100 type) terminal based on your settings
here. You can do as he says and go default and change to TTY or if you
wish to keep those settings for use with another terminal program you may
use…simply append an '*TTY' to your ppn when you login via BackTalk (you
can set it up as a macro on one of the F keys) so you'd enter:
login: 75126,705*TTY
Or, while on-line, at any CIS prompt type SET TERM TTY
Don
Thanks, Don. BackTalk keeps getting better! I'm gonna print out all the
docs this week. On another topic, I sent out a (calm) letter to Mr. Ali
today. Let's all hope for the best!
