ALL: I recently upgraded to an Amiga 3000 and I was wondering if it was possible to use my 2088 with the 3000? Can I boot off of an external floppy (3.5")? Also, would there be anyway that I could hook up a accelerator and a VGA card to it? There is only one additional slot right? Are there and Acc. bards that don't require a slot? Thanks… -Tim Stonis

Tim, Yes…you can use an A2088 with an A3000 but you have to turn off the cpu cache memory. Not having an A3000, I forget the exact procedures, but someone here should be able to help. Don

Tim… Following Don's note–With Kickstart 2.0, you need either CPU NODATACACHE or ENFORCER QUIET in your startup-sequence, before BINDDRIVERS. "Enforcer" is better, but it's only available with more recent 2.0. Marion CROSSINGS (Newsletter for the Bridgeboard)
