BRIDGEBOARD – Anyone out there have one? I have a 2088 X ught it while
stationed in Germany. Now I'm stationed in Hawaii (a dship tour). I've
only met one other person who owns one. I do subscribe to Crossings, so at
least I have an idea of some of the things going on out there with the BB.
I use my BB to program things for work. I don't have any games, I leave
that for the Amiga side of the house. What I'm lo or is a way to upgrade
the BB. Anyone have any sou ideas? How about PD or Commercial software to
enhance BB use or connectivity between the Amiga and the BB? Anyone seen
the new 2088Turbo Board? What's the difference? Where can I obtain chips
to upgrade the BB, namely BIOS? Hawaii may have nice weather but if you
own a computer it's not too friendly a place in terms of prices. There's
only one Amiga dealer here who doesn't care for th e BB and is a true
capitalist, Marx would be proud of him. I'd appreciate any help, oh this is
also my first BBS, I just bought this modem. So, I'm still feeling my way
around the board, this is my first day. Are there any BBS's with BB owners
or a BB section?

There is a BridgeBoard section in the AmigaUser forum. I would also
suggest that you go to AmigaVendor and look in the ATI section and download
a program from their library called WHAP!. Whap! will completely automate
your compuserve online sessions and save you tons of $$.

Most of the discussion of Bridgeboard questions is in the AmigaUser Forum,
rather than 'AmigaTech. There are some programs over there that are
helpful to BB owners, as well. I think you would find them most quickly if
you type GO AMG, and then search by Keyword, using BridgeBoard as the
keyword. AMG is the Amiga File Finder, and will find files for you on any
of the four Amiga Fora, tell you which Forum and which library the file is
in, and let you read the description of the file. It's nice, and I think
you will like learning to use it.

Section 12 of AMIGAU has the messages about bridgeboards and AMAX.
