Disregard my previous message about Imagine 2.9 not working under 2.0 with
the GVP Spectrum 28/24 card. As I should have guessed, it was a shortage
of memory. I added another 8 megabytes to my 5 megabyte machine and, lo
and behold, all works as expected again. Sorry to have bothered you
needlessly.

Are you able to run the detail editor in higher resolutions with your
EGS Spectrum card, Darron? I'm curious as to how well it works with
Imagine.

The Spectrum card passes through all "native" Amiga screens untouched s
so that Imagine still runs in 640×400 mode. I'm using a Flicker-Fixer for the
Amiga video output, so I can use a monitor that only syncs down to 31 kHz.
Unless there's been a software update that I'm not aware of, the Spectrum does
not "promote" programs that do not either use the Workbench screen or use
AmigaDOS 2.0+ database of available screen modes. I think I I read that some
other boards (can't remember whether it's Picasso or Pi Piccollo) will promote
screen mode for Imagine to 640×480.
I'm still learning my way around the Spectrum and will let you know any
"tricks" I pick up using Imagine on it.
