I ran across what may be a bug in 3DS2. I took a model of a male figure (from ViewPoint) and reworked it extensively. To save time I halved him down his centerline during modeling. When I mirrored the model, Iseveral parts were out of place and it took me some time to put him back together. I also noticed it when I scaled (2D and 3D) a model of a skeleton (also from ViewPoint). The model looked fine in the 3D Editor, but was all over the screen in the KeyFramer. BTW, the man looked fine in the editor as well, he "exploded" in the KeyFramer. Any ideas on how to correct this? Is it a bug, or am I pushing the limits of the modeling capability? Thanx for your help! Greg Cason

Somewhere along the line, during all that editing and rearranging, you also rearranged the transformation axes of the model. It's impossible for me to tell from your description, however, exactly where it happened. I don't know if your model consists of sub-objects or sub-elements. When you say several "parts" were out of place, for example. Anyway, you might be able to fix it. If the model still looks fine in the Editor, select all of it, and then use Create/Face/Detach to make the whole model into a single object (and reset the transformation axis). Now, if you need separate objects within the model, use Create/Element/Detach to create the new objects. When you get through, the model should look the same in both the Editor and the Keyframer. Hope this helps. – Jack
