It's been very interesting to read the threads about Robinson's piece both
on CompuServe and in the UK on CIX (copies of the article are appearing on
various BBSes over here).
I don't think I have read such diametrically opposed viewpoints!!
The general view over here is that, while his overall conclusion was
perhaps a little ill considered and some of the arguments a tad emotive,
the majority of his points were absolutely spot on and many people, rather
than emailing Robinson, are campaigning to bombard Commodore with mail and
FAXes in support of what was said in the hope that Commodore will listen.
