HELP !!! I just picked up a used Pacific Peripherals expansion chassis for
the A500. It holds two A2000 cards, and sits underneath the A500
Unfortunately it came with no docs. Does anyone know what the hookups
inside the machine are for, one appears to be for a floppy drive, but I'm
not sure, I don't know what the other one is for.
The only hookup you need is a 5 volt power supply. Mine came with drives
in them. There are three cables connections inside. One (the 4
pin slot) is for the power to the DD. The 25 pin ribbon cable is to the DD
connector on the back of the amiga – DF1. The other ribbon cab
le (I'm not sure how many wire – 15?) plugs into the back of the DD.
