Jim, I have an A3000, and the tape drive is connected to the external scsi
port… so I guess that means it's connected to the 2091 controller.
What kind of problems are you having, and which ICD controller are you
using?

I had a few problems with my ICD controller when I upgraded to 2.04, and
ICD suggested that I buy a new ROM for the controller. Since then I have
added a tape drive and a CD-ROM with absolutely no problems. My tape
drive is different from yours, but perhaps a new ROM would help your
problems.
