Jim,
I had a few problems with my ICD controller when I upgraded to 2.04, and
ICD suggested that I buy a new ROM for the controller. Since then I have
added a tape drive and a CD-ROM with absolutely no problems. My tape
drive is different from yours, but perhaps a new ROM would help your
problems.
