I have version 4.10 of Directory Opus and am running it on a 4000/040 with
a SVGA monitor. While I have the main screen configured to Euro72 (and an
excellent picture too this does not give a screen that can be resolved for
the config. program. How do I config. the config:-?

The Config program will always open a default HIRES screen (PAL in your case).
However if you don't have promotion turned on it will not be displayable on
your monitor.
The Config program will also open on Workbench if there are eno [A [B

Thanks for the comments. I have tried setting promotion on, it wasn't
before, but this has had no effect onthe visibility of config.
Can you expand on the issue of the number of shareable pens please?
Currently both DOpus and Workbench are on 8 colours. Do I gather these
should be the same?

Thanks for the reply. I turned promotion on without effect.
Could you expand on the shareable pens? Looking at 3.18.2 in the manual
suggests I should have the colours the same in both DOpus and WB?
