<<Do I need AApro to run this??>> Sorry, Keith. Run what? (When sending messages to me, it's probably a good idea not to use pronouns without antecedants. I read too many messages in any given day.)~

<<We were talking about the utility/driver that lets you view flics on the Targa board.>> That driver(s) is meant to work with AAPro/ANIPLAY and the Targa+. It's not a stand-alone player or anything like that. Just a driver.

Keith, The Truevision library has a ZIP called TPANIP.ZIP. In it you will find a file called TARGAPLS.DRV. Put this file in your ANI\RESOURCE directory. Voila! .FLCs on the targa! We just started doing this for taping low budget 3DS2 animations in real time. When before you enter ANI select your resolution. Interlaced 640×480 is TMODE 17, and is recommended by many. After entering ANI select extra/screen size and select 1 of 3 Targa modes. The ANI display will switch to your Targa output monitor. Note: Create your FLC in 3DS2 at same resolution that you want to run it in ANI or ANIPLAY. We're not experts…but are doing this now…any questions feel free to leave forum mail for us.
