James- Thanks for your reply and info. I'll definently look into the 10
mbps system. I'm glad you mentioned that or I may have made a regrettable
mistake. I tend to be pretty tight fisted with my purchases simply because
I'm trying to get everything else paid off. Also appreciate the idea of
reverse rendering on 2 machines. That's something I can do now, but had
never thought of. Great idea.
BTW, I get down to Dallas every once in a while. I know I'll be heading
south of the border for the OU-Texas game, but I come down for other
reasons too. If you don't mind, I'd love to see your setup sometime. If
you could, leave me your phone # (or EMail if you'd rather) and I'll setup
a time to come visit your studio.

I just saw Lantastic 4.1 AI for $66 a node at Compusa, I get NE-2000
compati-cards for about $150, under $250 a node, not bad….
I'll be having a party near that weekend, zip me your address and I'll make

BTW, I noticed your message saying that you were going to change to full
Novell if you couldn't get a particular problem worked out. Is this a
problem with Lantastic? Should I wait and see what you decide before I
jump into Lantastic?

Lantastic is great for small to medium size networks, it's very reliable
and the price is right. LT is a much better value than Netware light.
