Mike, I have had another series of abnormal program terminations with Imagine 2.0. All crashes have occurred during rendering. If rendering to .flc file, file corruption occurs, resulting in crosslinked files and lost clusters. Here is the exact sequence of the last crash. Rendering the Porsche in a 100 frame sequence. Locked pallette. 640 by 480 size .FLC file. Images rendered in 256 color .TGA format. Delete files after render. Everything is fine until frame 61. At that point, I get an abnormal program termination and some nasty hard disk writes. Here is what I am running: 486-33, DOS6, DBLSPACE, lots of room on the hard drive. Config.sys: device=c:\dos\himem.sys buffers=15,0 files=30 lastdrive=i fcbs=4,0 Autoexec.bat: cd imagine imagine /NOXMS That is the setup. I hope the answer is NOT that I can't use DBLSPACE any more. BTW, I also have had some abnormal program renderings while doing quickrender in the detail editor with the same setup but luckily, I did not get the damaged files as I did when I was rendering to .FLC in the project editor. I have had no problems rendering 24 bit ILBM files. Hope this helps you with 3.0. Let me know what you think. Did you get my other post?
