Well folks, the Turtle Beach Multisound came in last week, and it looks like it
was well worth the wait (and cost). Granted, all I have to compare it to are
the boards I've worked with before (SoundBlaster and SBPro), but there is no
comparison! The Multisound is GREAT! It takes a lot to get me excited these
days, but this board did it. It's MIDI capabilities are outstanding; I'm
having great fun.
It DID, however, take me a while to get it properly running in my max-ed out
system.
I'm putting together PC-based presentations that will rely heavily on MIDI
soundtracks with WAV voice-overs. This board fits the bill perfectly. Now if
I can just find a way to buy one for my home PC…<g>
