#3DS Boots Computer

Hi all,
I need to ask something that is puzzling me. I know that this has been dealt
with here before, so I hope that one of you remembers what the answer was, I
have a logo I'm trying to explode with the Explode_I IPAS. When I render the
scene my machine reboots.
What do I do?
I have a 486-66–1Gig HD–16MB RAM–DOS 6.0–NO MEM Manager except EMM386.
I need help since I HAVE to get this animation done.
Thanks in advance to any helpful soul out there.

If I remember correctly, you have an ATI card, right? I had the same problem
and it was solved by excluding the video area from emm386. In DOS 5.0, the line
went:
device=c:\dos\emm386.exe x=a000-c7ff 31360 RAM ON
on a machine with 32MB of ram. Try adding the x=a000-c7ff to your emm386.
The only thing that worries me is that on my home machine, running DOS 6.0, I
had no problems just letting Memmaker deal with the configuration so I'm not
sure if this is your specific problem but it sounds gosh darn similar to mine.
Good Luck!

Alex,
I have heard it is not a good idea to use EMM386.EXE from DOS 6. In fact,
I would _strongly_ recommend (as, I believe, does Yost Group) that you use
QEMM as a memory manager.
Thank you Gregory, and thank you all for helping me with this problem.
I haven't tried any of your suggestions yet, since I've been a little
preoccupied with my family visiting. However, come Monday, I'll try each and
every idea given to me.
Thank you again. It defenetly is great to have this kind of support.
